The Small Guilds Alliance is intended to promote cooperation between Guilds.

It's not restricted to Guilds with a low membership count: it exists to assist those who, for whatever reason, cannot get help from their own Guild when needed.

A small Guild might be just two people, maybe a husband and wife team; perhaps it consists of a couple of dozen players... or it might be a very much larger Guild that has some members who are on-line in a timezone that is 'out-of-phase' with the majority of its members. For a long time, I was a member of such a Guild (Divine Honor) - most of the members of that were US-based (I live in England), so most Guild activities happened in the middle of my night-time (there's plenty of time to sleep when you're dead, but... :D).

There are no complicated membership requirements: if you want to participate, just join the chat channel on Nektulos called 'sga'.

To join the channel:

• right-click on the chat window
• select Chat Options on the right hand side
• under "Custom Channels' enter 'sga' in the Channel Name field
• leave the password blank
• hit [Join] !

You can use the command "/whochannel sga" to find out who else is on the channel.

There are other facilities promoting inter-Guild cooperation: one I've recently become aware of is an invite-only channel maintained by the Noble Gravediggers Guild. There's also a number of organisations with a Raiding focus.

Please let me (Seefar) know if there are there any others, and especially if there is already a well-established open-to-all chat channel set up for the purpose of fostering networking. It isn't my intent to step on any toes: we should get together!
